Ariana Grande is really upset after finding out that Forever 21 hired a model who looks like her, so she decided to sue the brand for a whopping $10 million.
Sure, this can be considered exaggerated by many, but the singer considers that Forever 21, as well as beauty store Riley Rose, used a doppelganger, styled to look just like her, in order to get some extra publicity.
Even more, the lawsuit allegest that the retailer posted some actual photos of Ariana Grande, infringing trademarket, and used her music to promote products, without any permissions at all.
It appears that everything happened after the two sides talked about a potential endorsement deal, but the negociations didn’t go through.
Definitely not an inspired move by Forever 21…
