Jay Z somehow managed to generate a lot of controversy after announcing a new partnership with NFL, claiming that he believes that the kneeling moment should be left behind.
“I think we’ve moved past kneeling, and I think it’s time to go into actionable items,” the mogul said, while answering questions alongside NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell when he was asked if he would kneel or stand during the national anthem.
“No, I don’t want people to stop protesting at all. […] I support protest across the board. We need to bring light to the issue.”
Jay Z also said that he had spoken to Colin Kaepernick about the entire NFL arrangement, but the latter’s girlfriend, Nessa, as well as his attorney denied everything.
So, this leaves us to one questions: Will Hova’s image be seriously affected by this entire business arrangement?
