Kevin Durant is definitely a good guy, as he’s planning to open an education center aimed at helping low-income students get ready for college.
According to Sports Illustrated, the NBA ballers partnered with College Track organization in order to establish the Durant Center Prince George’s County, Maryland, as he wants to give teenagers a chance to a better future, by helping them with obtaining a college degree.
Kevin Durant’s center will be located in his hometown, Suitland, Maryland, and will focus on offering teens without material possibilities all the assistance they need to start and finish college.
“By helping our students maximize the value of their college degree—minimize student loan debt, secure internships, and limit the need to work while in college—we prepare today’s youth to succeed in the 21st-century economy,” the project’s official website states.
