Tekashi 6ix9ine claimed that Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber actually bought their way to the US number one spot, while he was the one who should be there.
The rapper said that the duo, both manager by Scooter Braun, had their label buy 30,000 copies of their charity single, Stuck With U. By doing this, their chances of reaching the first position were significantly enhanced. Even more, Tekashi says that the sales of his latest single, Gooba, were discounted, which took him to the third position.
Justin Bieber responded through an Instagram Story, denying all of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s allegations, adding that if more than five copies of the single are bought using the same card, all sales are discounted from the song’s position in the charts. Also, it appears that the company responsible for compiling the Billboard checked all figures and discovered that – you guessed it – all sales were legit.
So, was Tekashi trying to get some publicity with this move or what?
