Tekashi 6ix9ine risks spending a lot of years in prison, but the latest rumours claim that he could be freed sooner than expected.
According to a report from TMZ, the rapper snitched on one of his friends, implicating him in the shooting of rival rapper Chief Keef. Therefore, prosecutors amended the charges in his federal case, thus removing him as a defendant in the new indictment.
Prosecutors also filed a sealed document with the entire case, so he has all the chances to be free just because he is….well, a snitch.
“In my experience, if you haven’t pled [guilty] publicly and you’re taken off the indictment, you’re cooperating,” a federal criminal defence lawyer said. Talking about Tekashi 6ix9ine’s situation.
But will he be safe if he will become a free man once again?
